Isi artikelRenal artery disease is a cause of severe blood pressure evaluation in as many as 10% of children with secondary hypertension. Arteriographic imaging remains the only reliable means to identify children with renal artery disease and to define the location and extent of vascular lesions. Newer imaging technology allows smaller doses of contrast medium and somewhat less radiation exposure. The success of revascularization procedures for renovascular hypertension in children has improved markedly over the past 15 years.
