The 1998 legitimacy crisis of national leadership had been encouraging reform in many aspects of life; one of them is that of leadership reform. The massive change of political leadership in Indonesian is shown by changing in the system of national official recruitment. The recruitment of legislative and executive leaders even have changed dramatically. This paper attempts to discuss the Indonesian political leadership in the post reform era, in particular, the recruitment and ''violation'' committed during this era.
