The aim of this article is to describe the application of Weber concept of bureaucracy by Governeur General Herman Willem Daendels who governed between 1808-1811 in East India colony. As a first man in East India Colony, he had two main jobs: the first, He had to defence Java as long as possible from the attack of the British Navy Admiralty, and the second, he had to manage as a colony which give the advantage for the French-Holland Government. So, before his departure to Java, he had received two instructions from the king. Daendels applied all the King's intructions. He applied the modern principes to manage the administration of the government as Weber suggested in the rational bureaucratics model.
