Anthropometry is a study that discussed about the human body size. One of the most common application of anthropometry is designing data base and correlation matrix. This study aims to create a private elementary school student anthropometry data base in standing position for the age of 7 to 12 years old for male and female students. Besides data base of elementary private school children, other results of this research is a correlation matrix of standing position anthropometry data for children from 7 years old to 12 years old. There are 14 body dimension being measured in this research and the size of the sample being collected in this research is 257 samples, which are gathered from Bunda Hati Kudus and Assanusiah private elementary school. In this research the data is processed using Minitab 15 software. In this part of research there are 3 step of statistical test, they are normality test, significance test and correlation test, then a correlation matrix of standing position anthropometry data will be created. In the discussion part, the data base of of private elementary school student will be compared with public school elementary student data base. Finally, those data base will be combined to create a data base of elementary school student for standing position anthropometry data. Anthropometric data base of elementary school student can be used for variety of things such as comparison of children nutrition level, children sport development, and also public facility design based on anthropometry data of elementary school children. |
