| Most Senior High School students in Indonesia will continue their study to university after they have graduated, but they are often having a difficulty when choosing their departments in university. Although they have the required information, they are often stuck with the long and boring text. For this case, they need a new, fun, educative, detailed, and interactive way of delivering the information. A mobile application can become a great solution since students can receive information right on their hands. One of the best choices is to develop an Android application as it is the most popular mobile operating system these days. By building features such as information center, games, chat, and interest test, it is hoped that the application can help students in choosing their desired departments. The application has been tested and verified by 20 students and 68.3% of them think that the application helps them in choosing their desired departments. From 20 students, 90% of them think that the information center is complete. About 80% of them think that this application is easy to use. Around 55% of them think that the games can motivate them to explore their ability more. From 20 students, 70% of them think that the interest test has helped them in knowing their interest better. Lastly, half of them think that the chat feature helps them in searching for additional information. |
