Isi artikel
Translation is a matter of decision making since any kind of decision a translator makes will affect to his or her translation product. From this point of view, it is very important for us, as teachers, to recognize our students’ translation process when they are conducting the process. It purposes to reveal their experiences dealing with the problems faced, the way to analyze text, and the strategies applied to overcome the problems. A simple technique I propose, hopefully, can be used to uncover students’ translation process. Although the result cannot reveal the whole and complete process, it is likely can be used as teachers’ additional reference to assess students’ translation learning at the end of a semester.
