There are three parts of performance that we are going to discuss, such as output quantity of product, workstasion’s utility, and amount of work in process at the production floor. Althought the company already reached the production target in 2012, but in this case maybe there are some wastes that exist in the production area. Because of that, first we must identify the wastes existence and we make a performance betterment suggestion with lean production phenomenological. From a parameter calcutating we got the process equipment efficiency (PCE) value for real condition is about 0,52%. In another hand, the value for overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) is about 94,13% with some criteria such as availability, performance and quality have a value for each other are 96,87%, 99,5% and 97,67%. According to observation result dan analysis, we got the cause of lacking performance efficiency from that company. According to that analysis, so we made a research about waste with using checksheet for knowing the quantity and quality of the waste. We also did a calculation about cost of a waste so we know that which waste is the biggest influence for company. In this research we do a suggestion to improve the production quality by lean production phenomenological and suggestion that we gave only for waste that had the biggest cost. The applications of lean manufacturing in the production floor could happen with some ways such as 5S system planning, fullwork, kanban, and job standardize. Based on the betterment suggestion that have been made, performance value in value stream mapping future state make an increasement in 4,17%. After that the result of fullwork plans clearly defined by using simulation with Promodel. |
