In this paper, therefore, I will first discuss about responding Compliment as an important part of a successful communication. Moreover, considering that teachers plays a very important role for their students in the process of English learning, I then will highlight English teachers’ ability in responding compliments. I will also review their mother-tongues’ interference in the responses. I will illustrate my points with examples of responses made by the teachers especially the responses which seem unnatural or inappropriate with the situations provided.
