| Nowadays, measures performance based on the financial perspective is no longer sufficient to measure the company’s success. Therefore, the author uses The Balanced Scorecard, which is an approach that can measure performance comprehensively, to measure the corporate performance in PT DNP Indonesia. The Balanced Scorecard seeks to create a balance between the financial perspective and the non-financial perspectives (customer, internal business process, and learning and growth). Based on the performance measurement has been done by the author, PT DNP Indonesia has put considerable attention to create a good performance in non-financial perspectives. PT DNP Indonesia has given satisfactory training for employees, done innovations in the production process, and attracted new customers, to increase sales of the company in 2011. However, the efforts to increase sales without being accompanied by good cost management can not produce a satisfactory net profit. Therefore, PT DNP Indonesia has to improve the effectiveness and efficiency in managing the company's costs in order to obtain a good financial performance in subsequent years. |
