Independent variables that expected to affect ROE are debt policy, structure of asset, profitability, firm size and working capital. With purposive sampling method on the Center for the Study of Capital Market and Indonesian Capital Market Directory, obtained 15 (fifteen) sample food and beverage companies that went public on the Stock Exchange the period 2005 to 2010. Hypothesis testing is done using multiple regression. The results showed that the Structure of Asset, Profitability and Working Capital affect on ROE while Debt Policy and Company Size has no effect on ROE.
