This research was conducted to obtain anthropometric data base for designing clothes children aged 7 year to 12 years in DKI Jakarta. It is based due to the absence of adequate data base in the industry, in particular convection. The database is generated in the form of size 14 body dimensions associated with the dimensions of the garment.In this study, using a sample of 400 boys and girls aged 7 to 12 years in DKI Jakarta. Data collection began in mid-April 2012 to mid-November 2012. The collection of data recorded on a data sheet form identities and form measuring 14 dimensions of the body. The data obtained consisted of 200 boys aged 7 to 12 years and 200 girls aged 7 to 12 years. The data is processed using normal test, significance test and ANOVA test. Tests are assisted by using the software Minitab 15. Significance test performed on a subpopulation of sex and age groups. Output anthropometric database is in the form of mean, standard deviation, percentiles consisting of 1%, 5%, 10%, 50%, 70%, 85%, 90%, 95% and 99% of 14 body dimensions. Moreover, any resulting output is an image that has a description of its dimensions clothes. Output is obtained from the processing of the gathered data. The database that has been generated can be generalized for the population of children aged 7 to 12 years in DKI Jakarta. |
