Abstract
In this life can’t be separate with fluid flow. A liquid fluid flow can be either openchannel flow or pipe flow and the different is in the free surface. Many factors could affect the flow discharge in open-channel flow, such as flow velocity, surface area, and the head. Thus, the actual and theoretical discharge will be analyzed by experiment in open-channel flow that are be dammed with triangle weir, rectangular weir, and trapezium weir with varies weir’s geometry and the volume of water. Based on the experiment, it can be known that bigger the weir’s geometry and higher the flow will increase the value of flow discharge and vice versa. In the type of flow discharge, actual discharge based on experiment can be higher than theoretical discharge that be affected by the head and weir’s geometry.
