Abstract
Currently, the increasingly turbulent of external environment make the companies in Indonesia race to find new sources of competitive advantage, it is difficult to imitate, rare and valuable. Continuity and competitiveness of the organization is determined by intangible assets inherent in human resources. Therefore, the individual must be capable of operating in a global business environment which is rapidly changing and unpredictable. Companies must be able to manage the existing knowledge on every uman resources through a management that is better known as Knowledge Management. The research was carried out with a case study on PT. SAPERNUSA, a company engaged in the fiberglass industry. This study aims to analyze the correlation between knowledge management and competence of individual employees. The results of data processing software SmartPLS show that knowledge = management is very strong and positively correlated with the competence of individual employees. Knowledge is also a source of competence that contributed the most. Knowledge management for the company certainly will be increasingly important to improve the competitiveness of enterprises in the future.
