P.T. Garmentindo Hadimanjaya is a company engaged in the production of convection, such as baby and children equipments,, bags, etc. P.T. Garmentindo Hadimanjaya is lead by a president who headed various divisions, namely PPIC Division (Production Planning and Inventory Control), Product Development division, Division of Raw Material, Finished Goods, and Accessories Warehouse, Division of Accounting and Finance, Division of Packing and Quality Control, and Production Division. Through interviews with the management of PT Garmentindo Hadimanjaya, performance appraisal on PT Garmentindo Hadimanjaya itself has not been implemented, because this company is still relatively new, so the development of the company is still focused on the other side, thus causing a lack of understanding about the performance of the company's own employees, whether from work or during the working process takes place. Aiming at these problems, the authors propose to create a performance appraisal based on BARS (Behaviorally Anchored Rating Scales) method as a performance appraisal method which is based on the standardization of employee behavior. The results of performance measurement design process produces seven criteria that can be measured from the employees of PT. Garmentindo Hadimanjayain the production division. Of the seven criteria were formulated Critical incidents for each criteriaa on which to base the scoring of each employee for each criteria. Performance measurement system that produced the proposal is expected to become a standard used in measuring performance to the next, but did not rule out the possibility of development within the company to trigger the development of new performance appraisal. |
