Abstract
Wholesaler bicycle x is a distributor as a bicycle dealer in the area of bogor. This wholesaler sell a wide variety of bicycles, as well as selling spare parts. Inventory system is one of the most important faktor in determining the smoothness of the business process. A good Inventory system can reduce annual total cost. So far these wholesaler bicycle never applying any method of its Inventory system. Thus, in making of an Order only based on predictions alone. Information systems and the placement of goods in the warehouse that put carelessly will make the warehouse not neat. Where the type and Quantity of goods that do not exist in the warehouse with certainty, causing accumulation of goods. In this study proposed a method of inventori Supply systems, namely the Periodic Inventory system with constraints volume of the warehouse. In this Inventory system inform the optimal amount of the Order Quantity, safety stock, Ordering Time interval, space of warehouses in use and the costs incurred. Based on the process analysis, found that by using Periodic system “p” the volume of the warehouse is 417.1068 m3, where with the constraint volume of the warehouse is 457.3058 m3. For the total costs incurred, using the method of Periodic system the cost is Rp 10.778.384.462.2. Whereas using constraint volume of the warehouse the cost is Rp 10,671,660,128.0.
