Abstract
Ports is a medium and means to make the distribution of products that have been or will be produced. So that the port is going to perform an activity or process of loading and unloading of the port to the ship or vice versa from the ship into the harbor, one loading and unloading containers. Container or container is a package designed specifically with a certain size, can be used repeatedly, used to store and can also transport cargo that is in it. Freight containers is done by using material handling, therefore investigators conducted an analysis of reliability of Material Handling Container Terminal Cycle Time at Pier 009 PT. Multi Terminal Indonesia. PT. Multi Terminal Indonesia or commonly abbreviated as PT. MTI is a company that offers service in the loading and unloading. PT. Multi Terminal Indonesia is itself a subsidiary under the auspices of PT. (Persero) Port Indonesi II or better known as PT. Pelindo II. PT. Multi Terminal Indonesia is a company that offers services of loading and unloading either by using a container (the container terminal) or in bulk (in the multipurpose terminal). Researchers to test the correlation between the reliability of structures with cycle time by using SPSS software. From the test results obtained by the correlation between the reliability of the structure I with a cycle time of 0.128 this shows that there is a relationship between reliability with cycle time due to be in the range 0.00 – 0.199 as well as simple correlation between the reliability structure 2 with the cycle time is 0611. this shows that there is a strong relationship between reliability with cycle time due to be in the range 0.60 - 0799. The higher the reliability the higher the resulting cycle time.
