| Choosing the right university is not a easy task. For that reason, it has developed a device which can give a rankfor private university based on fuzzy database. Much criterion become a consideration in process of selection. Based on discussion that have been held, the criterion which be used divide into two major pieces, they are general criterion and cost. What to do in detail analysis research is how to used general criterion for choosing a university. General criterion is consist of more detail criterion, they are distance, image, facility, prospect of work, total of UKM and accreditation. Based on that criterion, it has developed a device with name UniDec-FTiUAJ. Fuzzy model that represent the criterion which have inside in general criterion is shoulder model, triangle and level criterion. UniDec-FTiUAJ will be able so for considering cost criterion together. Development device UniDec-FTiUAJ achieve a success, that 95,46% students want to use UniDec-FTiUAJ if that device have been applicated in their school. Beside that, it is known that UniDec-FTiUAJ easy to use and responden or user feel satisfy for using UniDec-FTiUAJ in testing session. Beside that, it is known that 90% statement which in satisfaction and easiness aspect has a score above the median score which have been used. And so it can be concluded that UniDec-FTiUAJ easy to use and responden or user feel satisfy from using UniDec-FTiUAJ and the testing section that have been done. Scoring the university have been done by doing a personal observation to 10 responden or user. Based on that observation, it is known that private university which been recommended for that major are UNIKA Atma Jaya (for criterion prospect of work, accreditation, total of UKM) and Trisakti University (for criterion distance, image, facility). |
