Development of the telecommunications needs of today's faster, has encouraged people to always be creative with creating new technology. An example is telecommunications technology GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication), which multiservice system that allows communication between users regardless of the place and time to perform various services, such as direct communication and SMS (Short Message Service). Tower siting BTS (Base Transceiver Station) for the mobile phone network into a common problem faced by the service provider of mobile communications networks. These operators are required to determine the potential location of BTS towers in order sermua signal area can be affordable. In this study discussed how to determine the number of tower locations where the locations of BTS and BTS towers should be built, using the approach Hata COST-231, the method of GIS (Geographic Information Systemi) and AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process). COST-231 Hata approach used to determine the damping teijadi during delivery of the communication signals so that later will be known radius of the range and number of BTS tower site. GIS analysis is used to determine the locations of BTS towers have been built and that will be built. While AHP is used to determine the locations of BTS tower potential based on criteria of capacity, cost and topography. From the analysis of the results obtained using the above method development priorities is the District Jatiuwung BTS tower at alternative D was 38.5%, District Cibodas on alternative E is 23.2%, District Cibodas on alternative C is 12.9%, District Jatiuwung on alternative B was 12.8% and the District of Jatiuwung on alternative A was 12.6% as the locations of BTS tower to be built throughout the year 2011. |
