The existence of potential old tin mining area located in Bangka Belitung province needs a treatment which is not only for preserving environment but also for increasing the financial condition and people welfare. The plantation of commercial plants in the old tin mining located in Bangka Belitung is hoped can give a solution for the tin mining area after being exploited. The observation was conducted to know the influence of applying the palm's solid rubbish in to improving soil chemical fertilization and to the Jatropa seeds growth planted in the mining area. This research used randomized complete block design with 16 medium treatment's. The palm's solid rubbish is very potential to fix sand chemical quality, increased nitrogen absorption, and as the result is that the chlorophyll increased better in tailing sand than in the soil medium. The well growth of Jatropa Curcas seeds in the tailing medium can be equal if they are planted in the top soil medium and can be better if they are planted in tailing medium with the right proportion of 1:3.
