Based on its financial report, PT Trankakabel had suffered a loss in its development from 2007 to 2009. Therefore, it is the utmost important to identify where efficiency and cost cutting could be conducted to reduce such loss. The Value Chain Analysis is believed as a method that will help to analyze the flow of production process starting from the arrival of raw materials in the warehouse to the possible after sales service. The purpose of the Value Chain Analysis is to identify where a value of a product can be increased and where efficiency and cost cutting can be applied to. In order to identify which part of the Value Chain Analysis that needs improvement so efficiency can be done, firstly, writer analyzes the financial report of PT Trankakabel which showed the loss of PT Trankakabel. The analysis method used is the dupont method as early diagnoses to the real issue in order to find a solution. The research shows that PT Trankakabel not only need to improve its stock efficiency but also improve its method in debt collecting and interest payment. |
