Abstract
Research was conducted to generate data base anthropometry of children under the age of five years in DKI Jakarta. It is based on the absence of anthropometric data base for children aged under five years in DKI Jakarta that would complicate the researchers, academia, industry, and medicine to gain insight about the physical characteristics of children in Jakarta. The resulting data base of 13 body dimensions for children aged 0-2 years and 37 body dimensions for children aged 3-5 years.Research conducted on 400 children aged 0-5 years who performed for about two months, starting from March 2011 through April 2011. Data retrieved by performing measurements using the data sheet that consists of the identity data and measurement data. The amount of data obtained as many as 160 data for children aged 0-2 years and 240 data for children aged 3-5 years. The data obtained were then processed using the software Minitab 15 for normalcy of test data and tests of significance. Based on the results of the study obtained data base of children aged 0-5 years in DKI Jakarta in the form of averages, standard deviations, and percentile of 13 body dimensions for children aged 0-2 years and 37 body dimensions for children aged 3-5 years.
