The thought of "corporate medicine" makes patients and providers panic. Medicine is individualistic; corporations are not. Doctors look out for patients; corporations make money. And yet the current economic situation is almost certain to increase the importance of corporate medicine. This time, however, there is a twist: providers and patients alike can benefit from the changes that are afoot.
