Indonesian as second or foreign language has been developing well both in Indonesia and a broad. This development should be accompanied by research in any area, methodology, material development, and error in learning. This research aims to describe the error of Indonesian learners and proposed the alternative remedial programs in order to eliminate the error. The writer hopes that the research finding would became a contribution to the Indonesian language teachers to achieve the learning objectives. This research result is a description of the learner's error on effectiveness of sentences, choice of words, offixes, conjunctions, words order, usage of "yang", words pluralize, and usage of prepositions. Remedial program suggested to anticipate the error are: (1) limiting the domain of the problems and deciding on teaching point; (2) giving clear examples and (3) giving enough chance for the learners to use the appropriate form in different situations.
