This particular research is the part of design activites of SKEA 300 kW. The turbine is designed for 45 m diameter with 3 blades. NACA airfoil 4424, 4418 and 4412 are used consequtively from root to tip. The aerofoil performances are calculated using CFD with consideration of Reynold and Mach number effects. Blade geometry with 15 twist is selected. By taking into accounts losses from rotor to generator, the blade should result in 350 kW power at nominal wind speed of 10 m/sec. This condition is achieved at blade setting angle of 2 at rotational speed of 35 rpm and tip speed ratio of lamda = 8,24.
