Isi artikel
Reports on the information services offered to UK companies by Companies House, focusing on the main output products and their development to meet customer needs and to facilitate easier access to the register. Examines also the main input products and the impact that their future development will have on the way the companies register is maintained. Refers particularly to developments relating to specific statutory forms. Particular attention is paid to the online information services developed by Companies House, including the subscription-based Internet service, Companies House Direct. Its approach to the electronic filing of information and its plans for an integrated electronic service is also described. Reports that Companies House is considering a quality marker system that would apply to companies offering higher quality or more comprehensive input to the public record. Companies that wanted a stronger image could volunteer for record accreditation, possibly filing a wider range of information on a voluntary basis.
