Abstract
HS Plastik is a company engaged in plastic equipments manufacturing such as spoons, jars, lids pilox, and others. Production scheduling applied at this time does not refer to a particular theory, so that in fulfilling these orders, there is often denial orders and rental services of other companies. If this is not handled, then the loss in terms of the company will be increasingly felt, especially in financial terms. The recommendation of scheduling system to solve this problem is using Immune Genetic Algorithm. The advantages using this algorithm is a immune process using vaccine that appropriate with the problems, therefore can give result more quickly, raising fitness, and preventing the degeneration. The order of execution of selected products based on scheduling criteria that is minimizing the mean flow time. To generate fast and accurate scheduling, then an application program designed by using Visual Studio C# 2008. The collected data for this study case is demand data in December 2010, which is obtained through the Immune Genetic Algorithm decreased the mean flow time. The recommendation of scheduling system proven to give the better result than company’s scheduling system with mean flow time decreasing value 0.054 day.
