| Traffic accidents often occur on the highway caused by unsafe behavior that is often carried out the driver. According to the survey and data from the police traffic accident that occurred on the highway is dominated by a motorcyclist. Not only male motorcyclist, female motorcyclists too often unsafe driving behaviors. This study aimed to obtain the driving behavior of female workers in Jakarta. Another goal of this research for motorcyclists especially female riders can find out harmful actions that should be avoided when driving. Research aimed at female motorists who routinely perform activities in Jakarta. Data collection was performed on 400 respondents female riders who live in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi. The types of work respondents are students, private sector employees, civil servants, entrepreneurs, and homemakers. Technical analysis is used to interpret the results of descriptive analysis results summary table and cross tabulation. In cross tabulation analysis, completeness of riding a motorcycle and unsafe actions (unsafety act) which carried the driver will be connected with the characteristics of the respondent / rider. The results of this study showed that the harmful actions are often carried by female riders is a red light to stop the vehicle passed the white line and change lanes without looking at the mirror first. Female motorcyclist in Jakarta is dominated by students and private employees with a lifespan of 16-35 years. |
