This research about usability aspect in the software Minitab 16 for Quality Tools. This research was conducted to determine the ease of using the software Minitab 16 in solving many problems associated with Quality Tools to be based on the dimensions of usability.
Usability dimensions examined the effectiveness, efficiency, satisfaction, and memorability. Dimensions of efficiency is measured by completion time when working on the research subjects are given an objective test. Dimensions of effectiveness is measured based on criteria - the assessment criteria during the course examiner conduct an objective test. Dimension of memorability measured from the mistakes made by the subject of current research work on the task after they had been notified step - step construction of the task - a
task that is given, the time of completion of work tasks and the score obtained when completing an objective test. Dimensions of satisfaction is measured through a questionnaire given to the preferences of sub.
From the results of a study of 26 female respondents, it is known in terms of effectiveness that the use of a user with such software to be effective in any given task. In terms of efficiency, research subjects to complete the task with a time-efficient. In terms of mind, the research subjects easy to remember the steps that should be under construction with a given task. And in terms of satisfaction, the subjects of research assessing the Minitab 16 software is easy enough to use to solve problems of Quality Tools. |
