The authors takes us in a round-the philosophical world trip, starting from the old Greece of Plato's and Aristotle's, through Cambridge in the time of Moore, Russel and Wittgenstein I, and then to Vienna of the Zenith of the influence of logico-pasitivism, back to Oxford and the ideas germain in Wittgenstein II, and finally leeping forward to the present stage of the development of the Indonesian language. Along the way he rejects both Descrates dualism of "the reductionism to phisykalische Sprache.
