Pine forests are often regarded as a type of forest life which has many short-term as well as long-term advantages. However, long-term benefits with minimum management requirements is an illusion hidden by the greenery and sap production. Both production and the environment are threatened by various activities of those living around the forest area. Are we paying enough attention to this threat?
