Abstract
Due to the growth rate of population growth in the city, but also indirectly affects the number of transport, especially in large cities. One of the vehicles is a private car. More and more private car users will have an effect on the number of parking in imbalance office buildings, shopping centres or parking in a public space. Due to the growing number of private cars is not accompanied by the addition of land for parking.
One important thing to note, in the construction of shopping centers, parking capacity is part of the management services provided to customers. The bigger the shopping area, the land for parking spaces provided should also be large and spacious. But in fact, a vast parking lot will make it difficult to drivers to find a parking spot.
In the case of this research is at the mall Pluit Village, when the mall was crowded with visitors conditions, not infrequently there are occasions when we do not immediately get an empty parking lot and eventually had to spin to find the place empty. Or if there was an empty parking lot, we do not know where the location, maybe even exceeded those empty parking spaces.
To solve the above problem, one solution is to design a system to facilitate the search for the location of car parking for visitors. To do this, prepared some alternative concepts, then conducted an evaluation and selection of these concepts based on the criteria for selection and weight value has been determined by the parties concerned, and then selected the best concept based on the highest value.
After the concept of alternatives has been selected, then the program will be designed through Visual Basic program and visualized in the form of analytic prototype using Macromedia Flash program, to provide a clearer view of the two dimensions of the chosen system design.
