There are two obstacles for the emergence of an alternative theory on social sciences in Indonesia: an internal and an external factor. the internal factor in social science theories. Thus, it is difficult for them to play and develop them. The external factor: the present economic and political conditions put much emphasis on social stability. An alternative theory in social science, especially that challenges this stability, is not welcome (by those in power).
