The house fly, Musca domestica have been implicated in the mechanical transmission of pathogens causing diseases. Important diseases that my be transmitted under certain conditions include infection of virus, bacterial, protozoan, fungal and helminthic. Therefore control measures should be carried out only when the presence of the house fly is intolerable to humans doe to their being a health hazard or muisance. The larvicide with active ingredient of dischlorvos 250 g/l was applied to the house fly larvae which conducted in the laboratory. There were five concentrations of larvicides to be tested i.e. 6; 12; 24; 48 and 96 ml by product/ 3 l of water/m3.
