Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi representasi sosial tentang agama melalui dua studi. Studi 1 menggunakan pendekatan struktural dan Studi 2 menggunakan pendekatan dialogis. Studi 1 taliap pertama menemukan core representasi sosial tentang agama melalui perbandingan antara "orang beragama" dan "orang tidak beragama", baik secara eksplisit maupun implisit. Sedangkan Studi 1 taliap kedua mengidentifikasi tiga atribut termasuk central core dan empat atribut termasuk peripheral, disertai tiga prinsip organisasinya. Studi 2 menunjukkan diskusi memunculkan antinomi pada representasi sosial tentang agama melalui empat aspek, yaitu: konseptualisasi agama. aspek transendental agama, perbandingan aspek transendental antaragama. dan toleransi antaragama. Sebagai hasil tambahan Studi 2, ekspresi linguistik "Saya sejujurnya..." ditengarai mengindikasikan konflik nilai antara individu dan masyarakat. *** The present research explored the social representations of religion in two studies. Study 1 used structural approach, while Study 2 used dialogical approach. The first phase of Study 1 found the core of social representations of religion by explicit and implicit comparison between "religious people" and "non-religious people". Meanwhile in the second phase of Study 1. tliree attibutes of central core and four attributes of peripheral element, including three organizing principle were identified. Study 2 showed that discussion gave rise antinomies of social representations of religion in four aspects, i.e.: conceptualization of religion, transcendental aspect of religion, comparison of transcendental aspect between different religions and interrehgious tolerance. As additional finding of Study 2, the linguistic expression "Honestly I..." ("Sejujurnya saya...") was assumed to be an index of tension of value jugdment between person and society. |
