Isi artikelThis article reports pilot data from a newly developed disclosure intervention and associated measures specifically tailored for disclosure to causal sexual partners. Treatment considered of a four-session, theoretically driven intervention focusing on the costs and benefits of disclosure. Using a randomized control, crossover design 77 men were randomized into one of three conditions (wait-list control, facilitator only, and computer and facilitator). Results of the study suggest that facilitated administration of the pilot intervention was effective in reducing mean scores on the HIV disclosure behavior and attitude scales and that these reduction were both statistically and practically significant.
