The differences in the operation of production machinery possibly affect the productivity of those machines, for example is able to accelerate the breakdown (damage) on the production machines. The tendency of operators’ behavior in CV Speedy Printing in handling and operating similar machine is not the same/is different between one operator and the other. The purpose of this final assignment is to determine standard operating procedure toward the production operator to create uniformity in operating the existing machinery so that the unfavorable impact on production could be minimized. The method used to design SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) on production division of CV Speedy Printing is by using Simple Step Procedure. This method is able to explain the details of every activity of the processes that run without requiring a lot of decisions taken. The data used to determine the criteria for its success includes the engine starting process time, the number of rejected final product, the amount of engine failure reports, the number of workplace accidents, the number of spare engines were damaged, and the time to disable the production machines. The data studied are data taken during the last six months. Based on data processing, it was found that the application of SOP in the production division is capable of giving effect to the increase of production machinery’s productivity at CV Speedy Printing.
