This study aims to assess postural working condition by using REBA (Rapid Entire Body
Assessment) and OWAS ( Ovako Working Analysis Sysem) and comparing these 2 methods to get the most accurate method to identify working posture. The study was conducted at PT. Sinpo Pack Indonesia. Photographs of the workers taken to be the main data of this research. The author use random sampling to determine the observation time. After the photographs had been taken, observation using REBA and OWAS is conducted to get the final score of each method. The result from the observation of the five work station with
eight workers with REBA method shows the final score with range of 4-7 which mean the job have medium risk. The results with OWAS method inform an average points of 2 which mean the job need to be observed in the future. Comparation of these 2 method held by broke down every different criteria to find the best method between REBA and
OWAS. The results showed that REBA is more accurately to assesst working posture, because of its complex and detail assesstment. |
