Abstract
To develop a product we need a method, that a development will be known as well. In this
study, writer used a Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method, where the meaning is a method
which is included to knowing the product needs by the consument, and that needs must be
integrated by every product specifics which will be develop. The function if the product produced
can be sold in the market.
Quality Function Deployment (QFD) also has a method where should to do, that is
identifying consument needs by collecting data using questionnaire tool and inspected the
feasibility of the data which has been collected with that analysis (validity test and reliability test).
Having obtained the respondent product’s needs, then it needs to be integrated product
specifications are developed by using the product planning matrix (House Of Quality), and the
planning matrix component (Part Deployment).
From the research carried out mainly by using Haouse Of Quality is the output of consumer
needs for the design barrier on the path to the door transjakarta not felt by the user of transjakarta
efficient enough and have not good enough in security level. In this research, user needs expressed
by transjakarta the products development of sensor design using a special identification of
transjakarta. To get a product barrier door at the point marked by the transjakarta, it is necessary
to (1) the door design; (2) sensors are used; (3) cross-sectional of door design; (4) lights marker
are banned as the results of Part Deployment.
