This Special Interest Group (SIG) has been running quietly for a number of years as a forum in which people with an interest in the field of Education Leadership and Management from a variety of institutional backgrounds could meet. Its original organiser was Dr Gwen Wallace, formerly of Derby Lonsdale College, from whom I took over as co-ordinator in 1995.
