Isi artikelThe Career Entry Profile (CEP) was introduced as a pilot in 1998 and then as a requirement from 1999, as a part of the assessment system for students completing the Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).The document is completed notionally in a partnership between student, university or college department of education and the staff of the school within which the student has undertaken most of his or her practical experience. The Teacher Training Agency (TTA) requires the student to outline four strengths of teaching during the PGCE year and four areas for further development in his or her first year of teaching.
