Isi artikel
Previous workers have described the use of tongue twisters as linguistic evidence, for information on speech production in developing verbal skills in performers and children, as shibboleths, as well as in verbal play. The Dinka seem to use tongue twisters with preadolescents in a preliterate tradition of instruction in grammar and socialization into polite lexicon. A concise linguistic analysis of the manipulation of the complex Dinka phonology, morphology, syntax, and lexico semantics in tongue twisters is given.
