One can hardly communicate with others without language. According to Miculka (1999), “You are a communication channel-a talking, smiling, moving, representation of thoughts, emotions, imaginations and personality”. It means that humans' behavior represents the real communication. Wherever people go, whatever they do, they send signals through non verbal, such as their appearance (clothes, facial, expressions, posture and hand writing), and through verbal (what you say) they send constant messages (Miculka, 1999). The use of English as a means of communication has been increasing. We need it to interact with customers, relations, or friends from English speaking countries. Therefore, the ability to speak English as a foreign language is important. |
