Abstract
Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious diseases caused by mycobacterium tuberculosis. Usually ot attacks the lung, but in some cases other organs can be infected. Nowadays Indonesia is the third on the list of high-burden tuberculosis countries in the world with incidence number of 234 cases/100.000 persons. Lung TB patient presents symptoms such as malaise, wasting, nigh sweatig, etc. In certain condition, TB patient must be admitted to the hospital. This research will describe about clinical manifestations appear on lung TB patient under Atma Jaya hospital care. This study is a descriptive study. Our data was taken from Atma Jaya Hospital's medical records of hospitalized patient who are diagnosed as lung TB patients without complications and comorbidities as sample of our study. There are 57 samples that fulfilled the inclusion criteria. The result of this study shows that the time needed for a patient to be discharged from the hospital is six days on average. The most common clinical manifestation occured is cough (83%), followed by fever (67%), and dyspnea (56%). The time needed for a patient to get recovered from each clinical manifestation is vary among patients. Further research with better design is needed to provide more accurate data of hospitalized lung TB patient's clinical manifestations.
