The data shows that immunization coverage in Indonesia, in this case DKI Jakarta had not reached the properly target of UCI, that is minimal 80 %. It is associated with the level of community awareness about immunization, especially mother as the closest person of the baby. Based on that problem, the research was conducted to determine the influence of maternal knowledge, attitude, and behavior to the completeness of basic immunization in babies. This research was using observations analytical design with a cross-sectional method. Population of the research is mothers who have 1-2 years old child and live permanently in Subdistrict of Penjaringan. Sampling technique was using multistage random sampling from February 25th to March 3rd 2009 by the number of 120 respondents. Data collection was using a questionnaire and further analyzed by chi square statistical test. Obtained from the results of this research: (1) there is a significant relationship between maternal age and maternal knowledge of basic immunization (p 0,036 < 0,05), (2) there is a significant relationship between maternal education level and maternal knowledge of basic immunization in babies (p 0,012 < 0.05), (3) maternal knowledge of basic immunization affects the completeness of basic immunization in babies (p 0,008 < 0.05), (4) maternal attitude toward basic immunization affects the completeness of basic immunization in babies (p 0,013 < 0.05), (5) maternal behavior toward the basic immunization affects the completeness of basic immunization in babies (p 0.000 < 0.05), (6) there is a significant relationship between the information of cadres and the completeness of basic immunization in babies (p 0,004 < 0.05). Therefore, it could be concluded that maternal knowledge, attitude, and behavior affect the completeness of basic immunization in babies. Keywords : Knowledge, attitude, behavior, basic immunization.
