I appreciate the thoughtful and wide-ranging commentaries of Zimmerman and Glymour (Zimmerman, 2008; Glymour, 2008). They reflect a common motivation to move this area of literature forward, despite somewhat divergent perspectives regarding recommended directions. In the final thoughtson the board issue of future bdirections that Zimmerman and Glymour raise in their respective commentaries.
