Isi artikel
One of the most interesting questions raised by Aronowitz's article "Framing Disease: An Underappreciated Mechanism for the Social Patterning of Health" (2008) concerns the editors' decision to publish it as - I assume - new and original work. Its subject matter is the labeling of bodily processes and activities as sickness or addiction - and, more specifically, as asthma, obesity, migraine, cancer, and the like.
