Early childhood stage is very critical. In this stage, children learn a lot of things and gain experience in an extraordinary pace. Therefore, many concerned-parents send their young children to school earlier than their cohorts in the past. Unfortunately, finding the right school is very cumbersome for those parents. There are too many school choices, ranging from teaching methods to learning approaches. For instance, one kindergarten emphasizes on academic substance, while the others introduce the learning-by-playing method. Though there are some negative impacts of school institution that focuses in academicals aspect, on the other hand there are also some advantages that can be taken from that kind of learning method. One of the advantages of kindergarten that focuses in reading, writing and spelling (academically)is that both teachers and parents can early identify the symptoms of specific learning abilities. Those symptoms can also be early recognized by if both teachers and parent posses well understanding in regard of their children learning characteristic as well as aware of children unusual or abnormal learning behavior. Early intervention by parents will help children to catch up their developmental lag.
