Abstract
PAO Burger is a new chinese burger restaurant’s that would be built from a business planning. The main idea of the business plan originally came from a group of college students from UNIKA ATMA JAYA at Jakarta. The scope of works from PAO Burger restaurant is at fast food business. The main target market are student and employee with higher and middle social class who likes fast food and Chinese food. PAO Burger restaurant will be open for the first time in year 2010. To fulfill and developed the business plan, then we need some special step to cover it. One of that special step is to select a new place to build this restaurant. Based on that plan, the best location election system is needed. The location selection system suggestion is with utilize The Brown – Gibson approach. The Brown – Gibson approach is one of the location selection which pay attention to some objectives factors and another some subjectives factors. By means of this location selection system hope will bear a right decision of the best location choice. The alternative site location in this research object consist of three location which are Kelapa Gading 3 Mall Taman Anggrek , Mall and Plaza Semanggi Mall. The subjectives factors consists of some criteria like, “accessibility”, “comfortness”, “facility” and “foodcourt”. After we get the preference point of the criteria, then we can get the importance rangking of each criteria and importance rangking each criteria on each alternative location with help of pairwise comparison method. Result of the pairwise comparison system is selected the priority of subjectives factor, that is : comfortness, accessibility, foodcourt and facility. Result of objectives and subjectives performans measure for every location is the Location-Preference Measure (LPM) value for Kelapa Gading 3 Mall 3 was 27,93 % , for Taman Anggrek Mall was 24,41 %, and last for Mall Plaza Semanggi was 45,86 %. Based on that result, Plaza Semanggi Mall is selected as a the best site location because have a maximum LPM value.
