Abstract
The Position and method of manual material handling to cause potential injury as well as complaints at the packaging table work station of PT. X. Preliminary results from checklist analysis could be realize the most dangerous for worker in environment was physical demands. Analysis of the load seen from the aspect biomecanics using 3 methods, namely the Revised NIOSH 1991, Rapid Upper Limb Assessment, and Maximum Acceptable Weight Limit using the Revised NIOSH 1991 analysis of nearly all the burden on the lift lifting its Index exceeds 1. The use of methods to get RULA grand score of 7 indicates that the methods of work should be immediately replaced and repaired. Load limit is not recommended for the work obtained from local method Maximum Acceptable Weight Limit table with the results of Liberty Mutual gained 17 kg and 23 kg. Recommendation improvement can be seen from 2 terms of the management control, and control engineering. For management control method produced for lifting the load of the body, especially back in the horizontal distance and frequency. The engineering control design the material handling which is helped by wheels.
