Indomobil Suzuki International TB II is a four wheels automotive company. The problem which is faced by a company is occurring stopline at “I” line frequently that is caused by the components are not available and the overdue of supply components. Because of that, a company needs an improvement in the inventory system of “I” line for handling the components are not available. Then to overcome the problem about the overdue of supply components, a company needs an improvement at the control supply system with the JusT In Time (JIT) application. Determining the optimal quantity order components to the vendor (Q optimal) will be executed for handling the problem about components are not available. Determining the optimal quantity order with the Continuous Review System method (model Q) which is modified at the total cost of stockout changing to total cost of stopline. Based on the processing result, Q for the Pipe Comp, Oil No.1 component is 283 unit with the total inventory cost is Rp 429.567.2 during April – Desember 2008. And then to overcome the problem about the overdue of supply components is need a control system with the computer and andon production machine. Now the company is using the andon production machine so it needs a modification which is appropriate with the recommendation system design. A recommendation control supply system is used to minimized stopline at “I” line until the production process appropriate with the production plan. With the calculation of Q optimal and the recommendation of control supply system can minimize stopline. And the recommendation control system helps the company to apply JIT application at the company. So it can minimize the time waste of overdue of supply components.
